Tres Gatolinos

These lazy tres gatolinos were on this bed in the office with Jimmy all darn day. Please note: Lulu is in the "crease," Sickman won the sun spot (her favorite) and Fifi is just getting long in the dark shadows of the bed. I guess they chilled like this all day long.

These cats are content to watch Jimmy work away as they lounge, ebbing in and out of a dreamy sleep. Note their slow change of comfort positions, truly enjoying a day of sleep. Wouldn't we all love a day of sleep!

Felix curled up in his super relaxed position.

Simone laying her belly out in supreme rest.

Felix in the curl.

Everyone in their next position.

Lulu . . . so tired from a long days work!

Max is on Parole

Because of her excessive and inappropriate digging, Maxine is on parole. She needs to prove she can do better than this to deserve her privileges.

Snuggly, Cuddly

Sometimes, We Can Just Get Along

Random, I walked in the office and these two were sitting there like two loaves of bread. Happy as clams!

Sometimes, you and me are free to be you and me!

Cats Like Stinky Things

This is our work out bag, which I am sure stinks to high heaven. We ride our bicycles to the gym, work out for about 45 minutes and then of course ride back. So this bag essentially stinks.

Felix . . . GROSS!!!!

Helpers Strike Yet Again

I tried to blog a while ago but my mouse wouldn't respond. Apparently, the gatolinos thought I didn't need the advantage of a mouse. Gatos!

Helpers Strike Again

The most amazing thing about cats is that when you are really into something (especially if it involves paper, boxes or string) they are super super helpful. Take this picture. If there is one thing an algebra or a post-civil war literature class needs is two frolicking (or fighting) gatos. I am sure this was just what Jimmy needed to complete his assignments and secure a solid "A" for himself in the class!

Way to go Black Radishes!

Half Committed

McRib and BigMac

I haven't written about MacRib in awhile. She is looking much healthier but still exposed to the difficulty of the streets. She knows what time breakfast is served (6:00 AM) and what time dinner is served (6:00 PM). She is always ready for food.

But so are some of the other local cats! Can you see BigMac in the background? He is prowling around, trying to intimidate MacRib so she will leave her food and he can have it for his own. Can you see him? You may have to make the picture bigger but he is there, licking his fur, acting coy, waiting for the right moment to POUNCE. Today I fought him off with my broomstick but some days it is more challenging than that!

I tried to get Felix to help me on look out patrol, but it is the same old story. He and MacRib look at each other: she wants to know how she can apply for the gig indoors and he wants to know how he can apply for the gig outdoors!

In the end, we scared BigMac off and still MacRib did not come out to eat her food. We will bring it in and give her double tomorrow!

Empty Box

We had this box sitting on the office bed from the motorcycle jacket Jimmy just got, we all thought it was now empty. Suddenly, it started to move this way and that. Simone came up to check it out and look at what she found!

Lulu was in the box!

Can you see her little eye peeking out from inside the box?

Lounging Part 2

No commentary necessary, these animals are lazy!

Lounging

Typical day, gatos lounging every which way. Enjoying a mid-afternoon snooze. Koof in her new favorite spot, the crease, and Felix stretching long across the bed.

Can you spot the blue mouse?

Bones 2 Go

Our dog food establishment, Bones 2 Go, actually delivers to us! We got a much needed order in almost a week ago but it has been raining so much Maxine has not had any of her bones! Marley is not coming over today and we have kind of been rained out for play time. So she has been sulking.

Well, today she got a bone! It was short lived since our gardeners came unexpected and sprayed the lawn to kill cinch bugs but . . . at least she got a bone!

When Jimmy went out to show me the lawn she went out with us and wouldn't come in until Jimmy chased her! Then, she whined by the door tonight after dinner, practically begging for her bone. She is definitely missing bones and Marley!

Photo Shoot - "The Crease"

Sing to the tune of "Girls on Film" - Gatos on Film

New Fridge, New Territory

Our old refrigerator died and our new refrigerator actually fits better in the space provided and gives us a little more room in the kitchen. But a little more room for us is a little LESS room for the gatolinos to jump onto the ridge and then up into the loft.

Not to be mean, but we were a little bit worried about Simone's ability to pull this new maneuver off. She is a wee bit husky! More so than the other cats. But . . .

As you can see . . .

She did it!!!! Good work Sicky!

Really Wants the Sun Beam

Try to figure this one out! Simone found the sun patch of her dreams and laid half off the bed and half on the bed to enjoy it.

She sure loves a good sun patch!
