Koof Eats Canned Food!

Felix's wet food works for Lulu! Of all eight different kinds of canned food we tried for the road trip the one that worked was right under our nose. Phew!

Simone Finally Eating

The Problem of Lulu

We have tried about 10 different cat AND dog foods to see what Lulu will eat from a can on the road. So far, no dice! She likes pure, raw beef and that's about it. I will keep working on it - maybe some of the dehydrated foods that Bones 2 Go sells? I will look into it.

Simone's New Digs

Simone has had a long, hard day of transitioning to a new home. She cried all night and just wanted to burrow in Jimmy's sleeping bag with him (yes Jimmy is sleeping in a sleeping bag until tomorrow!).

She didn't eat for a few meals and last time I heard she had only eaten some snacks off of Jimmy's plate, not a real meal yet. She was disoriented and slightly traumatized by the whole ordeal. One of my nurses asked if maybe she had some ear injury from the ride. I hope not!

Finally at the end of the day she started to relax, maybe this will feel like home to you someday Sicky!

Orphans In the House

When Jimmy goes down the block to the other house, MacRib likes to follow him. One day she just pranced right in there! Maybe she was day dreaming about being an indoor cat. With temperatures in the high nineties i am sure she loves to dream of an air conditioned world!

Swimming Frog

When we got home from dinner last night with Marley's people, Marley stopped dead in her tracks when she saw a frog leisurely swimming in Max's water bowl! He was doing the back stroke, freestyle and even a little butterfly until we shuffled him to the next yard where two big dogs were not waiting to chase him!

Max is staying here in Texas until we have a more suitable place for her to live in California. She has a beautiful home with her best friend Marley right on th Bayou. But that means greater potential for flooding if there is a hurricane so Max had to get prepared!

The Black Radishes Move to California!

Are you ready for a gato adventure? All three of these guys have to get to Calufornia. One with Jimmy by air! Two with me by truck.

These are the cat carriers, we are trying to make them a part of their day to day life.
