Koof Gets Beef!

We have been searching for the right product for Lulu since we started the moving process. Since the cats have been on raw food, Lulu has always liked beef. When we went to translate that to something we could buy in a can we just couldn't find something she would consistently eat. It has been difficult finding it here but today we stumbled upon Pet Food Express. Not only did they have a new product to try, they will let us return anything the cats don't like! The product is Stella & Chewy's Raw Food. And it looks like Lulu likes it! We will have to see if Simone also likes her chicken.

Earthquake

The cats just had their first earthquake. I can't say it stressed them out much (see picture) but it may have accounted for their earlier stress. I am not joking, when we called my sister Lisa and told them the cats started acting up she said, "Maybe there is an earthquake coming."

No matter where we have been this week Lulu consistently searches for the highest possible spot in the room. It is probably a safety thing for her.

We are in Glendale, CA staying with my sister. We are hanging out in the stairwell while she goes and gets her two cats from the boarding they have been at for almost a week! She is really excited to see them!

We are not yet sure how tonight will work, we may end up in a hotel. We are all very grateful for how seriously Lara took her role as transporter accross country. We couldn't have done it without her!

Mantra Cat

Today was the first day both cats cried all morning. Lara tapped into the power of the manta cat (pictured here) and played mantra music for them. They mellowed right out, I am not joking, it is the secret key to calming cats! If you ever drive accross country with cats it is an absolute must.

Apparently cats don't care for a quick dip in the litter box while on the road! Felix popped his head out and went right back into his box. Lulu just wanted to explore.
