Jackie the Amazing

This is the newest member to our Guerrero extended family, Jackie the Guinea Pig.

Lili and Emiliano love little Jackie. They tell us all kinds of stories about her and her eating habits and what she likes to do. Lili says she takes her to bed with her! Is that crazy or what!

Santa brought Jackie to them this year. They named her after a jacket that Carolyn has that is black and white. At first she was called "Jacket" but soon the more endearing name Jackie emerged.

Welcome to the family little Jackie!

Does she have any nicknames like our cats do???

Jackie almost had a moment of fame!
For Lili's 100th day project, Papa proposed the idea of gluing 100 Jackie poopies in 10 groups of 10. But alas, Lili thought her teachers would be grossed out so she used jellybeans instead. Jackie still feels she was robbed of the spotlight. She is one clever guinea pig. When her water bottle or food dish run dry, she does laps around the cage squeaking a horrible starvation squeak and throwing guinea pig shavings everywhere until her demands are met. She must be a Guerrero.

Jackie slipped into a recent depression due to a family trip to Sturbridge Village. She was alone in Casa Guerrero for two long days while Lili and Emiliano cheated on her by visiting oxen, cows, roosters, pigs and other animals at Sturbridge Village. When we returned, Jackie had flipped over her house and had refused to eat or drink. I think it would only be right if we purchased a dog to keep her company while we are taking Massachusett excursions. I am thinking a cute Wheaton Terrier but Lupe is in denial of his true love of canines.
