Mr. Yakamora

We are going to Japan in September. I am studying the culture and language in an attempt to avoid getting stuck in the middle of nowhere and knowing no other word but, "Konichiwa," which is a simple greeting. Anyway, each cat now has their Japanese name. It had to happen, right? This is Simone in a perfect scratch stretch on the scratcher Jimmy posted up the side of the shelves.

Simone's Japanese name is Yoko.



Lulu's (Koof) Japanese name has been hard to find. We wanted an exact translation of "little ghost" which is her primary designation (because she is the one we love the most).






And Felix, well, it is perfect for him . . . Mr. Yakamora. I actually think this is his real name it suits him so well!
