Cricket comes to us from the Nine Lives Foundation of Redwood City. Her introduction card says, "Allie (aka Cricket) is a beautiful little black girl with white on her chest and the tip of her tail. Little Allie is missing a rear leg but you won't hear any complaining from her! She bounces around the house just fine although she would appreciate a little ramp to get up on the bed. She might like to go outside for a nice nap in the sun as long as she had a safe fenced-in yard. On cold nights she likes to crawl under the covers next to you - a vest improvement over a hot water bottle or an electric blanket! Allie does fine with other cars or she could do well by herself as long as she had a home with someone who would be around for a fair amount of time. Since she is such a social girl she would be lonely if left by herself for long periods of time."
I think our home fits the bill! Now we have to go through the slow process of getting the Black Radishes on board with the new little kitty. They recommend a slow introduction, lots of special treats for the home cats and affirmation of everyones place in the family.
